Our History: Founded in 1989 by Manolis Tsourounakis, our butcher shop began as a small neighborhood store in Kremasti, Rhodes. From the very start, we've been committed to providing the freshest, highest-quality meats to our local community. Over the years, we've grown, expanding our range of products and services while staying true to our roots. What began as a small local butcher shop has evolved into a trusted name in both retail and wholesale meat supply across Rhodes and the surrounding islands.
Our Journey: Throughout the years, we have focused on quality and service, expanding our offerings to meet the needs of our growing customer base. In 2004, we took a major step forward by opening a dedicated workshop, allowing us to create fresh meat preparations daily. This was an important moment in our growth, as it enabled us to provide an even greater variety of products and meet the needs of both our retail and wholesale customers.
A New Generation: In 2022, the second generation of the Tsourounakis family, Valantis and Kostas, took the reins of the business. With a fresh vision, they modernized the workshop and expanded the product range to include new, innovative offerings. Today, we proudly offer a wide variety of meats, including specialty cuts like Black Angus from America, Uruguay, and Australia, as well as locally sourced pork from Chalkida, beef from Elassona, and chicken from Ioannina. The Tsourounakis Butcher Shop is also well-known for its buffalo meat and other high-quality selections.
